Description

This is an Oil-based Drawing/Painting of your pet hand-drawn on white card high quality 100% cotton drawing paper. I use a combination of oil-based and wax-based pencil to achieve detail in each portrait.

**Only a 20% deposit is needed to begin drawing. The rest is due upon completion. Please message me when you've decided which size you'd like and I can send you a link to pay the deposit**

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
I draw portraits from photos provided by you. If you don’t have a photo of the pose you want, I can work with several photos to create the right one.  Separate images can be used to place a number of pets or people together in one portrait. I can draw detailed portraits when I get CLEAR, QUALITY digital photos. Photos can be sent through e-mail to carmadystudios [!at] gmail.com.  

Try sending outdoor photos. Natural sunlight shows more vibrant colors, but putting your subject in direct sunlight can create harsh shadows that make it difficult to see the eyes, which is the most important part of the portrait. The best photos are those taken outside on a CLOUDY day, in the SHADE, or by a WINDOW. Please provide CLEAR, QUALITY digital photos. Larger photos help to provide the artist with the detail needed to create a realistic lifelike portrait!

I realize that sometimes it’s impossible to find a quality photo, such as if you’re planning a surprise. In this case I do my best to work from reference photos to add the missing detail.

Your finished piece comes shipped Priority Mail in an art mailer tube to protect the sides and surface of the drawing.
